Shriners Hospitals for Children
SHRINERS HOSPITALS FOR CHILDREN is an international network of 22 pediatric hospitals located in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The hospitals provide specialized care at no charge to children with orthopedic problems, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate.
In addition to providing excellent patient care, Shriners Hospitals is committed to conducting innovative research and teaching programs.
The specialized care available at Shriners Hospitals for Children is priceless, but what many people do not realize is that all services are provided at absolutely no charge.
There is no catch. Patients and their families are never charged for any of the expert services provided at Shriners Hospitals.
HOW IS THE CARE FUNDED?
Shriners Hospitals is able to provide these life-changing medical services because of generous donations from many organizations and individuals, the $5 yearly assessment from each Shriner, fundraising efforts by Shriners of North America, and income from investments.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
If a child is under the age of 18 and can benefit from the specialized care available at Shriners Hospitals, he or she is eligible for admission. Eligibility is not based on financial need or relationship to a Shriner.

Shriners Hospitals for Children is a one-of-a-kind healthcare system dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing pediatric specialty care, innovative research, and outstanding teaching programs. Every year, the 22 hospitals care for thousands of kids with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate, in a family-centered environment at no charge.
